What is the CU PT Early Admission Program (EAP)?
An exclusive opportunity for full-time UCCS undergraduates to complete the EAP and earn a guaranteed interview with the University of Colorado DPT Program.

Program Structure
Phase I (Freshman Year)
Apply after completing 15 credits.
45 hours of paid shadowing across 3 settings.
Stipend for field-related certification (up to $700).
Phase II (Sophomore Year or Later)
Apply after 45 credits are completed.
Up to 8 weeks paid clinical work as a rehab aide.
Guaranteed interview with CU DPT Program after meeting requirements.
(Phase I is encouraged but NOT required for Phase II.)
Eligibility Highlights
Students who meet two or more of the following:
Pell Grant eligible
From rural/frontier Colorado communities
First-generation college student
Military service (current or past)
Desire to practice PT in Colorado
Program Accreditation
UCHealth School of Radiologic Technology is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology.
