About Us
Building stronger, healthier communities
At the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences, we don't just provide an educational base for your success, we help you meet and exceed the needs of a rapidly changing healthcare landscape by providing innovative and connected programs.
Our students gain real-world experience and professional connections as they advance toward a degree that emphasizes education, practice, research and service. No matter what degree you select, you will be empowered to improve an entire community through your new knowledge. We look forward to serving you in that goal.
Train to be an exceptional healthcare professional
As you work with highly qualified faculty members in classroom, laboratory and clinical settings, you’ll develop hands-on skills needed to set your career as a healthcare professional into motion. You’ll:
- Learn to manage real-life scenarios through our state-of-the-art Simulation Learning Center.
- Receive lots of personal attention thanks to our low 10-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio. When you have a question, it’ll be answered — and by someone experienced. Of our 34 full-time faculty members, 100% are Master’s prepared, and 56% have a doctorate. 100% of our tenured and tenure-track faculty have a doctorate.
- Expand your professional opportunities thanks to our partnerships with hundreds of hospitals and healthcare agencies across the country.
We’ve been at the forefront of nursing education since 1904. The faces and facilities have changed over the years, but our passion and progressiveness have not — a fact recognized by the Denver-based Helen K. and Arthur E. Johnson Foundation. In 2015, the foundation contributed $8 million for an endowment to ensure our long-term sustainability, and we became the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
When you join us, you join not just a legacy, but a driving force of caring.
