Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science- Athletic Training Option
For those students seeking to become board-certified Athletic Trainers, this degree option provides an accelerated pathway to the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) through the concurrent BS/MS degree program.
Focus of Study
Students in this option take core classes in Exercise Science and MSAT prerequisites during the first three years, then apply to the MSAT graduate program.
Students accepted into the MSAT program complete the degree requirements for both the BS in Exercise Science and MSAT requirements with up to 10 dual credits and graduate in the 5th year with both degrees.

Minimum Graduation Requirements
• 120 credit hours
• 45 upper-division credit hours (3000-4999 level)
• 2.0 CU cumulative GPA
• Residency: 30 credit hours of degree must be completed while registered in the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
