Accreditation Visit Announcement

Dear Johnson Beth-El Community,

The Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs will host an accreditation visit by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) on March 9-11, 2020.

CCNE will be conducting an on-site evaluation of our baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, and Post-Graduate APRN Certificate program.

As part of the CCNE procedures, the Commission provides the opportunity for our communities of interest, i.e. students, alumni, faculty, employers, clinical agencies, and the community-at-large to provide written input regarding our nursing programs as it relates to the CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs.  Your feedback is valuable and appreciated.

You are cordially invited to submit your written feedback to CCNE no later than twenty-one (21) days prior to the site visit.  All written comments must to be in English and signed.  Comments must be received by February 17, 2020:

Please note that comments are shared only with the CCNE evaluation team appointed to review our programs prior to the on-site evaluation.  At no time during the review process are these comments shared with the program, the Accreditation Review Committee, or the Board.  The CCNE evaluation team will review comments, if any, that relate to the program’s qualifications for accreditation.

Thank you,
