These 15-hour internship opportunities offer students hands-on experience in long-term care, allowing them to engage directly with healthcare settings, observe leadership in action, and gain insights into healthcare business practices. Through guided shadowing, students connect with community leaders, explore memory care and other specialized areas, and develop foundational skills that enhance their understanding of professional roles in healthcare. Additionally, they have the chance to represent their peers as community voices within the JAWS program, building their leadership skills and community awareness.
