Rural Health Workforce Initiative Scholarship Information

Colorado Legislature appropriated funds to multiple universities to provide stipend money for the nursing workforce in rural and frontier counties. UCCS Johnson Beth-El is targeting students enrolled in the RN to BSN or graduate nursing programs for the scholarship initiative.

Students selected for this scholarship must commit to practicing for two years in a rural/frontier county in Colorado.
In addition, students must Complete a non-credit, self-paced rural health set of modules during course of study.

Prior to completing the following application, please read the agreement form. This agreement form is required to be completed prior ro receiving Rural Health Workforce Initiative Grant in compliance with SB22-172.

Available beginning in fall 2023.
