Rural Health Workforce Initiative Grant Information

Colorado Legislature appropriated funds to multiple universities to provide stipend money for the nursing workforce in rural and frontier counties. UCCS Johnson Beth-El is targeting students enrolled in the RN to BSN or graduate nursing programs for the grant initiative.

Students selected for this grant must commit to practicing for two years in a rural/frontier county in Colorado.

Colorado counties scholarship recipients can work post grad.

In addition, students must Complete a non-credit, self-paced rural health set of modules during course of study.

Prior to completing the following application, please read the agreement form. This agreement form is required to be completed prior to receiving Rural Health Workforce Initiative Grant in compliance with SB22-172. Please be sure to sign all pages.
