9TH ANNUAL TREK THE TRAIL 5K RUN/WALK

Lot 580 Intersection of N. Nevada and North Campus Heights
The run/walk begins at 9:00 am.

The first 200 paid participants to check-in will receive a race t-shirt.

The UCCS Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences is hosting the Trek the Trail 5k trail run/walk to benefit a student scholarship fund. The event fosters leadership opportunities for students and is a zero-waste event focusing on sustainable, leave-no-trace ethics. The Trek the Trail 5k features beautiful UCCS natural campus trails and is the official UCCS Family Weekend 5k.This year’s event is hosted by Johnson Beth-El, faculty and a team of incredible student volunteers.

Since inception, Trek the Trail has raised over $10,000 in student scholarships, has provided leadership and learning opportunities for over 40 student volunteers, and has annually brought nearly 200 runners and walkers to campus trails from around the state of Colorado.

$30 – UCCS Students, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni

General Event Information

Parking: The race will start and finish in campus parking Lot 580. This is located on the east side of the intersection of N. Nevada Ave and North Campus Heights. Turn east into that parking lot from the stop light at North Campus Heights. Park in that lot. Carpooling or riding your bike is encouraged!

T-Shirt Pick-Up & Registration: T-shirt pick-up and and race day registration will open at 8:00 am in Lot 580.

Ready, set, smile! The race will start at 9:00 am and we'll have a photographer on site taking some photos and some video! Photos will be posted on the race website afterwards.

Yummy (and local) post race snacks: Enjoy fresh, locally-sourced post-race snacks prepared and brought to you by Health Promotion Graduate students.
