Research Award
The Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences is dedicated to producing high quality scholarly activity that contributes to the development of advances in health care and wellness. The college Outstanding Research Awards recognize clinical teaching track faculty, pre-tenured faculty, and tenured faculty who have demonstrated exemplary contributions to their dedicated field of research.
Eligibility
All full-time faculty in the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences with at least three years of faculty experience while at UCCS in the respective award category being applied for. Specific award categories include:
- Clinical teaching track faculty
- Pre-tenured faculty
- Tenured faculty
Award
The recipient of a research award will be recognized during the following spring college assembly. All recipients will receive a plaque and a small stipend to be used for scholarly purposes (e.g. conference travel, equipment). The recipient of the research award in the tenured category will be required to provide a brief presentation summarizing their scholarly focus and their contributions to health care and wellness at the subsequent spring college assembly.
