About the Awards

Welcome to the Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing & Health Sciences Awards, where we honor exceptional contributions to research, teaching, service, and staff performance. These awards recognize the hard work and dedication of our community in advancing healthcare education and practice.

 

Research, Scholarship, and Creative Work Award

The college Outstanding Research, Scholarship, and Creative Work Awards recognize instructional, research, and clinical faculty, pre-tenured faculty, and tenured faculty who have demonstrated exemplary contributions to their dedicated field of research, scholarship, and/or creative work.

Service Award

The College Outstanding Service Awards honor non-tenure track faculty, pre-tenured faculty, and tenured faculty who have demonstrated exemplary leadership to their department, college, university, and respective professional field.

Staff Award

The College Outstanding Staff Awards honors individuals who are dedicated and make significant contributions to the college mission. 

Teaching Award

The College Outstanding Teaching Awards recognize non-tenure track faculty, pre-tenured faculty, and tenured faculty who have demonstrated exemplary contributions to student learning.

Request for Online Initiative Funds
Due to temporary (2024-2027) university funding, Johnson Beth-El is offering opportunities for interested faculty to request financial support for the development of various online initiatives.
 

Incentive programs for publications and presentations

Presentation Incentive

The JBE Presentation Incentive will be used to supplement faculty/staff participation in domestic and foreign conferences (including virtual) at which the faculty/staff are scheduled to present. These funds are used to reimburse for allowable conference related expenses, such as conference registration, transportation, lodging, meals, and childcare expenses associated with dates of travel/presentation.

Publication Incentive

The JBE Publication Incentive will be used to supplement the continued research of faculty/staff. These funds can be used for research related expenses, such as conference travel, research equipment, research assistant salary, participant incentives.
