Dual Enrollment Requirements Registered Nurse Requirements

Admission requirements include:

  1. A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher from ALL colleges attended
  2. Currently enrolled in or admitted to an Associate’s Degree in Nursing program

All application steps must be completed, or your application will be delayed.

  1. Complete the Undergraduate Transfer Application.
  2. Pay the $50 application fee
  3. Submit official transcripts from ALL colleges you have attended to the EXACT address below:

  2. A copy of your current, unrestricted RN license
  3. Letter proving completion of at least 1,000 clinical hours (only if it has been more than 3 years since you finished your ADN)

  3. Submit a copy of your RN license and a letter proving completion of at least 1,000 clinical hours (only if it has been more than 3 years since you finished your ADN)

The courses below must be completed before you graduate from UCCS and can be transferred in from your current college. They are not required before admission. If you have questions about your general education credits, please email rnbsn@uccs.edu.

  • General Education Electives (15 cr.)

Due to individual state regulations, we are accepting students from the states below. These states apply ONLY to the RN-BSN programs::

Students are admitted to our program as a resident of an approved state in which they resided at the time of application. If a student plans to relocate, the student must verify the list of approved states and check with states directly to assure the ability to continue in our program. Some States may require additional paperwork and contract agreements. Give lead time for this process.
